As a cold- blooded murderer, he sent chills down the audience’s spine as he played a merciless villain right in his debut film, Force opposite John Abraham. The moment its promos went on air, the only thing people were talking about were his muscles, muscles and more muscles. And in his second film, Commando: One Man Army, Vidyut only showed to the world how real action is actually done. For once, people actually thought that all the jaw-dropping action scenes were special effects as nobody believed that any normal human body can be as flexible as Vidyut’s. Vidyut is quite a gym freak. He makes it a point to workout at least three times a week. But more than that, he believes in Martial Arts. Vidyut says,” I’m originally a Rajput, but I’ve spent 15 years of my growing in Kerala. That’s where I learnt the martial art form, Kalaripayattu. I was born into a family that was always into fitness and martial arts. If you see Commando, you will see an amalgamation of Kalaripayattu, gymnastics and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu”

If you’ve been keeping a track of SALMAN KHAN’s career for the past five years, there’ no need to tell you that Bhai can do just about everything. Bhai can ‘kick’, Bhai can fly and Bhai can
jump from towers, sky high! What’s the big deal about singing then? Recently, his best friend and director of Kick, Sajid Nadiadwala (re)discovered his voice and announced that he would record all the songs of kick in his voice. Poor Mika Singh, his hit number Jumme Ki Raat is also on this re-dubbing list! Anyways, that’s another story. But to give Salman his due, he has managed to get a thunderous response for his song, Hangover, much like the taalis and ceetis his films gather. His voice not only added the much needed bass and authenticity to the chartbuster, but also became an instant hit with the janta. Although Salman has crooned in the past (chandi kiddal par from Hello Brother) Hangover has been a far better melody. Now there’s a hangover that no remedy can cure…

Ha ha ha ha… Give me a moment to catch my breath, darlings! Someone just told me this hilarious joke on AAMIR KHAN’s PK poster, and I almost choked on my blood Mary! Oh gosh… these enthu – cutlet comics really strike gold sometimes! So! The tweet goes like this… “I don’t see the big deal with Amir Khan’s PK poster; it’s just Amir hiding hiss ‘3 Idiots’!” Ha ha ha… there were other ones as well. “Poonam Pandey promised, but Amir Khan delivered!” went one. Then there was someone who photoshop-ed his picture right into the Lagaan poster! Say what you want to, the actor has managed to get the ball rolling and the film’s as one can be. And as for me, get a glimpse… Uhhh, of the film I mean. Don’t be so naughty!!!

But from what I’ve heard, Salman Khan is treating his films like his baby. From the look to the script to the actress – sallu’s calling the shorts, apparently! Now that Salman has snatched up the male lead in Karan Johar’s Shuddhi, the girl opposite him also have to have some substances and some stardom, right? Though last heard the heroine of the film was the biggest problem for poor director, Karan Malhotra; he’s apparently ‘bent over’ his desk, head buried in the script, re-working it to suite bhai’s stature. And there have been a lot of changes, too, you see? Hmmm, wonder how dug (Hrithik), who the script was written for, would react to this news…

A chirping birdie recently told me that he now wants to revamp his art-house image and capture the mass-market. So, after the success of ‘Kick’, Nawaz has hired a brand new manager to get his word out there! Well, given his action prowess, his increasing stardom can only be a good thing. But just one word of advice, Mr. Siddique: Please don’t lose your focus like all the superstars do, chalega?

She has recently been crowned as the world’s sexiest woman alive by a magazine. That, we think, says it all about this extremely talented, gorgeous and super fit actress, who recently managed to achieve something, which no other actress had managed to in the last decade – giving six super hits  in a row. But to be able to do six back top back films, four of which released in one calendar year, play diametrically opposite characters which were emotionally taxing and do stunts which were physically grueling, one needs to be in the best state of mind and body. Be it the super sexy and ultra – glam avatar in Race 2 or a simple, sari clad  desi girl in Chennai Express or a fashionable, confident and modern – day girl in Yeh Jawani Hey Deewani or a ghagra – choli clad, oh-so-gorgeous Leela in Ram Leela, Deepika enthralled one and all left them mesmerized with her poise and panache. To achieve all that and more, Deepika religiously follows her trainer Yasmin Karachiwala’s instructions and ensures that she doesn’t miss yoga, which according to her, is one of the best ways of rejuvenating one’s mind and body. She does her share of weights at her in-house gym and even walks for 40 minutes each in the morning and evening. Being a sports enthusiast, she even hits badminton court quite often which helps her maintain her stamina and a trained dancer that she is, Deepika even takes to dancing to keep her body fit  and flexible. As far as diet is concerned, she doesn’t refrain from having a share of dosa, chapati, idli, dal, rice and even dark chocolate, but Ms Padukone believes in eating healthy, correctly, and eating often. And when you are gifted with a body like her, to hell with the world!

I work out almost every day; its’ a mix of both cardio and weight training that one requires, but right now I’m doing a lot of cardio about 45 minutes, there’s something I call my ‘little 100 work out’, I do like 100 pushups, 100 squats, etc. spin class has given me maximum results, it’s not your regular stationery bike, but an actual spin bike, I think for any women who wants to get rid of cellulite, it’s the finest thing ever to keep your legs and butt in shape.
