The moment its promos went on air, the only thing people were talking about were his muscles, muscles and more muscles. And in his second film, Commando: One Man Army, Vidyut only showed to the world how real action is actually done. For once, people actually thought that all the jaw-dropping action scenes were special effects as nobody believed that any normal human body can be as flexible as Vidyut’s. Vidyut is quite a gym freak. He makes it a point to workout at least three times a week. But more than that, he believes in Martial Arts. Vidyut says,” I’m originally a Rajput, but I’ve spent 15 years of my growing in Kerala. That’s where I learnt the martial art form, Kalaripayattu. I was born into a family that was always into fitness and martial arts. If you see Commando, you will see an amalgamation of Kalaripayattu, gymnastics and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu”
